(Poem) Prophet Muhammad ﷺ – The Greatest Social Reformer

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the founder of Islam and the final messenger sent by Allah (SWT).

But what few people don’t know is that he was not only a Prophet or Messenger but was also the world ‘s greatest social reformer.

He put in a lot of effort to unite people, set up a social framework, establish justice and guide all humanity from darkness to guidance.

Here is an ode to the Prophet (PBUH) who was the best of mankind and the greatest Reformer of all times.

If it weren’t for the Prophet (PBUH) we would still be living in the dark ages,

Indulging in immorality, burying our daughters alive and transgressing the limits

If it weren’t for the Prophet (PBUH), we would have no moral guidance or a leader,

Our life would have been spent blindly following and idolizing some dimwits.

If it weren’t for the Prophet (PBUH) the strong would have continued to oppress the weak,

Rich would have exploited the poor and those enslaved would have never been freed.

Men would have enjoyed undisputed superiority over women,

And women wouldn’t have had any status and would have been victims of lust and greed.

If it weren’t for the Prophet (PBUH), children would have no concern for their parents,

And the widows, orphans & poor would have been left untended.

If it weren’t for the Prophet (PBUH), animals and nature would be completely neglected,

And thy neighbors you think you would have befriended?

If it weren’t for the Prophet (PBUH), we would have not had a practical and ethical way to live,

For every atrocity committed we would have surely sought revenge yet we followed his teachings and chose to forgive.

If it weren’t for the Prophet (PBUH), we wouldn’t have the concept of a family,

There would be no society nor would have the dream of a single ummah become a reality.

If it weren’t for the Prophet (PBUH), we Muslims wouldn’t have been a unified community,

And the Ummah wouldn’t have come together today to continue his legacy & uphold his dignity.
